Working with Trauma & Anxiety

Course Aim:

Taking a neurobiological view – how do we work with Trauma within our perspective roles?

Course outcomes: 

Participants will be offered the opportunity to:

  • Reflect on how children may understand significant life events
  • Consider changes in brain chemistry
  • Reflect on coping mechanisms in families and individuals
  • Consider the long term implications of anxiety and trauma if it is not addressed
  • Explore our own values and ideas? Has Covid-19 made a difference to this?
  • Be able to plan how to support a child or young people.
