Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:- 

  • Understand the legal framework, policy and best practice for practitioners carrying out the role of Safeguarding Adult Manager in safeguarding adults enquiries
  • Have a full understanding of the safeguarding adult enquiry officer role. This should include The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and local operational procedures
  • To have an awareness of tools related to Making Safeguarding Personal, the MASH Team and policy. 
  • Be upskilled on Chairing Safeguarding Meetings
