Overview
This is an interactive one-day refresher, designed to help participants who have previously completed a supervision-training course, reconnect with, and develop the principles, philosophy and practice underpinning the 4x4x4 model of reflective/restorative supervision. In particular, the day provides opportunities for developing supervisory skills through: 1. Exploring (reminding & reconsidering) the four functions of supervision & the key stakeholders & their implications for planning sessions 2. Reflecting on the importance and practice of ‘reflection’ and ‘analysis’ in supervision 3. Considering recording issues 4. Reinforcing the need for two-way planning/preparation for supervision & 5. Reminding participants of the value of a negotiating meaningful agreements/contracts around supervision.
