Participants will be offered the opportunity to:

• Gain an understanding of the practice of FGM
• Be able to recognise the risk factors
• Understand the legal context and their statutory role in relation to FGM
• Know how to assess situations involving FGM and how to develop plans with Young People and their families to address the concerns.
