Diversity

Working with children and their families must involve staff and volunteers in understanding a full range of life experiences of children and young people with different attitudes, cultural perspectives and religious beliefs. It is important to communicate effectively taking account of culture and context as well as a wide range of variation in experiences. Our training focuses on the need to recognise and respect a range of differences, working together to create an environment where everyone feels valued for their individuality.
