Friday 10th September

Disabled Children

Disabled children are approximately 4 times more likely to be abused than non disabled children yet may be under represented within our child protection system. Our training, routed within the Social Model of Disability, focuses on understanding why disabled children may be made more vulnerable in various settings, and how we can use our assessment and child protection processes to keep them safe and promote their development.
