The challenge for all those working with children and families is awareness of the impact of ‘self’ (in terms of statutory and organisational power) in forming purposeful relationships with vulnerable service users which may be considered involuntary and intrusive. In-Trac training aims to translate awareness into practice that empowers service users to assert choice and control, through anti-discriminatory and culturally sensitive practice.
