Protection of Vulnerable Adults

Our trainers have extensive experience of training in the field of public protection, including the protection of vulnerable adults. We also deliver training in the safer recruitment of workers in adult services; as well as working along side Local Authorities to develop their procedures.

Our associates provide expertise in the development and implementation of adult protection procedures as well as first line management of enquiries where adults have been identified as being at risk of abuse.

Our training topics include: (click for more where indicated)

  • Protecting Vulnerable Adults
  • Safer Recruitment & Retention
  • Achieving Best Evidence
  • Parental mental ill health
  • Parental Learning Disability
  • Carers Assessment
  • Risk Assessment
  • HIV/BBV Awareness

Our training sections offer a sample of the courses we can provide. Our aim is to be flexible and to meet the needs of the commissioning agency; we do not insist on sticking rigidly to our course programmes but welcome the opportunity to discuss local needs, and to adjust our courses accordingly.
