Tony Morrision

Tony MorrisonIt is with immense sadness that we learned of the death of Tony Morrison on 6th February in an accident in Canada. Our first thoughts are with his family for whom it must be an indescribable loss.

Tony has been an inspiration to so many of us at In-Trac, with his integrity, warmth, professionalism and enthusiasm. He has been a real inspiration, and there are many of us who have been motivated by Tony to explore new avenues in our professional lives.

Tony's passion for supervision and real belief in the difference that it can make to front line practice is well known. During the past year In-Trac have been privileged to work with him to develop a team of trainers to deliver the CWDC training for the supervisors of newly qualified social workers. The success of the programme is not only testament to Tony's brilliance in developing training but also his capacity for bringing like-minded people together and developing strong teams. We will miss his quick mind, emotional intelligence, incredible work ethic, and wonderful sense of humour.

Tony had a long association with NOTA. The NOTA website offers the opportunity for people to post a comment or tribute to Tony if they would like to do so.
