Jane Wiffin
Jane Wiffin is a Senior Research Fellow, Making Research Count, University of Bedfordshire - manager of project to disseminate research to social work agencies and to help develop capacity across management structures for knowledge based practice. Includes training consultancy, design, and delivery of training and learning materials. In addition, course leader for Post Qualification advanced course for practitioners and contribution to teaching of the Social Work degree.
Jane is a Freelance Trainer and In-Trac Associate providing training and support to agencies across the UK in development of children's services. Particular focus on developing knowledge base of managers.
Management of a research project looking at practice and domestic violence in Milton Keynes, and has provided many authorities with research-based training in this area.
Senior Policy officer, Family Rights Group - project manager for a number
Jane also has extensive experience of presenting at conferences both nationally and internationally on subjects such as User Involvement, Evidence based Practice, Working with families, Family Support and Family Group Conferences.
