Sue Lightbown

Sue works for Cafcass and is responsible for the delivery of service across Lancashire and Cumbria. She is an experienced supervisor and is am one of a group of five colleagues who devised and delivered supervision training to the whole Cafcass organisation. Within her role in Cafcass she has liaised with the Department for Children, Schools and Families in consultation for early professional development and recently have been part of the consultation group for the Children’ Workforce Council in reviewing and developing training for newly qualified social workers and looking at the early professional development needs for practitioners.
