Penny Sturt

Penny Sturt is a qualified social worker and also holds the Advanced Award in Social Work and the Practice Teacher’s Award. Penny has a breadth of experience within children and families social work including working alongside health colleagues in delivering multi-disciplinary services to families affected by mental ill health or disorder. Penny has experience of being an expert witness in child care proceedings. Penny has taught qualifying courses in social work and currently teaches on the post qualifying specialist child care award.

Penny really enjoys working creatively with people and is accustomed to working with and managing diversity. She has considerable experience as a front line manager in supervising / mentoring staff. Penny enjoys working with adult learners improving standards in social care practice.
