Niki Bigrave

Niki BigraveNiki Bigrave is a qualified social scientist and health promotion advisor with experience both in the National Health and Social Care fields. She has been setting up, delivering, evaluating and commissioning a variety of social care and health orientated courses for the past 20 years. She has been directly involved in the delivery of courses such as Safeguarding Adults in both residential and community settings, Effective Communication, Reporting and Recording, Interview skills and Fair Access to Services. She is an HIV/AIDS and Drug and Alcohol training specialist with firsthand experience in counselling both HIV infected/affected people as well as people with drug and alcohol addictions.

As the Training and Development HIV & Sexual Health Consultant for Surrey County Council for 11 years and the Training Lead for Safeguarding Adults recently she has collaborated with a variety of agencies to formulate appropriate policies addressing the needs of clients and has provided training to health and social care staff at all levels thus enabling them to understand and respond appropriately to patient/client needs.
