Become an In-Trac associate

In-Trac is proud of the trust that our customers place in us. Our decision to maintain a relatively small associate base ensures our continued personal service to our customers. However, we do sometimes have vacancies and are always interested in developing new areas of work. If you think that you have something to offer and are interested in becoming an In-Trac associate, please complete the on-line application form here. Our Training Manager, Louise Robinson, will contact you.

We take particular care to ensure that all our associates are offered the very best support, including comprehensive administrative support. The In-Trac office is staffed between 9.00 am and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday although there may be short periods of time, as well as after office hours, when an answering phone is in operation. We will always do our best to respond to your queries the same day.

All negotiation with the customer is taken care of, delegate packs are copied from master documents provided by you, these are then sent on to the venue in advance of the training.

We have a full time Business Manager who deals with all financial matters.

As part of our commitment to our associates, away-days are arranged on average twice a year in order for all the associates to get together to discuss current topics/update on skills and knowledge/get to know each other. These are largely informal events which we hope provide the opportunity to get away from the normal work environment for a day and take advantage of time to update and network with other professionals.

From time to time we organise and run our own practise seminars with associates facilitating training on topics of particular interest to themselves. These are usually run at a London venue. Other associates are offered the opportunity to attend these sessions free of charge in order to update their skills and knowledge or to become familiar with other topics that they may wish to consider training in the future.

As part of our consultancy and events service, we also organise conferences for third parties. It is usually possible to offer free places to our associates at these events. For example, we have recently worked with international speaker and author Andrew Turnell to provide his conferences on Signs of Safety in both London and Newcastle.

What do we expect from you?

We expect our associates to uphold the In-Trac principles and values at all times.

Completion of a short evaluation form following training to ensure that any issues or difficulties are dealt with swiftly or concerns reported back to the training commissioner. Registers and delegate evaluation forms should normally be posted back to the In-Trac office in the pre-paid envelope provided within 24 hours.

Hand out materials must be received at the In-Trac office no later than two weeks prior to the event taking place in order to ensure time to copy, make up packs and post to the venue.

It is desirable that all associates provide the following equipment:

  • Lap-top with broadband access
  • Data Projector (we do have a supply of these which can be borrowed from the In-Trac office if necessary)
  • Mobile phone - we are often required to provide answers quickly and it is desirable that associates are contactable
