Lynn Buckle

Lynn has been a deputy of a secure children's home and in respect of Regulation 15 meetings had responsibility advising social workers of the process, auditing reports presented at the meetings, representing the home at the meetings as well as supporting staff and young people through the process. As deputy manager Lynn also had responsibility for ensuring all meetings were held within national timescales and worked closely with the IRO for Hampshire who had a specific remit for Reg 15 meetings.

Lynn has delivered training for IRO's and service managers within Hampshire and is experienced in translating examples of practice into the training to offer examples of where the procedure has been followed as well as the result of timescales being missed.

Additionally Lynn has acted as IRO for a London borough for Children Looked After.
