Lisa Murrell

Lisa Murrell currently works within Children’s Services as a Cultural Adviser for Children In Care. She works alongside social workers families and other professionals, to ensure that the cultural needs of vulnerable children are met.

Lisa worked within the field of Equalities for 9 years specialising in race discrimination law, racial harassment and multi-agency working. She was an equalities employment caseworker for 5 years, which included representing clients at Employment Tribunal and assisting in employment dispute resolution.

A qualified trainer, Lisa has designed and delivered training packages on various Diversity and Equality issues to the police Service, Hospital Trusts, The Fire Service and many voluntary organisations.

Lisa has broad experience of one to one work with children and young people.
