Meet the Team

Juliette Francis

Juliette has had over 18 years experience working with disabled children, young people and their families, primarily within the family support and safeguarding arenas. More latterly her responsibilities have also included nursery education and therapeutic provision. As Head of Children and Young People's Service for a voluntary organisation she managed a multi-disciplinary team, co-ordinating and developing a variety of short breaks schemes including a residential centre, domiciliary and family based support and an out of school activity programme, all of which have been highly evaluated by Ofsted and the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

Juliette's areas of particular interest include:

• the participation and involvement of disabled children
• safeguarding disabled children
• multi-agency working, including models of early intervention and early support for families
