Coral Hatton
Coral Hatton is a training manager for a large local authority. She has extensive experience in the design, development, planning and presentation of training, particularly in relation to work with children and their families as part of a comprehensive multi-agency programme. She also supports and assesses students on the Social Work Degree course and Child Care Award. As part of her work for In-Trac Coral has designed and presented courses on Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment and Selection, Common Assessment Framework, Safer Working and lone working.

- Complex and specialist family assessment work
- Assessment & intervention work with adults and with young people who sexually abuse
- Investigations and assessments of allegations against staff & foster carers
- 30 years working with children & families where abuse is an issue
- Therapeutic work with children & young people on self protection skills
- Training planning, design, preparation & presentation
- Development of Safeguarding policy & practice
- Use of IT & technology in presentation
- Resource & team development & management
- Joint Interviews of children & young people where there are child protection concerns/allegations (Section 47 Children Act 1989)
