Anne Patmore

Anne Patmore is a qualified social worker with the Advanced Award in Social Work. She worked in the statutory sector for many years, and has worked extensively in family support and child protection, latterly specialising in working with disabled children and their families. She subsequently worked in the voluntary sector as a social worker in a multi-disciplinary Child Assessment Service and then a co-ordinator for a short-break scheme for disabled children.

Anne works in partnership with parents to develop training for parents and professionals together on topics such as delivering a diagnosis, Early Support and care co-ordination, both in the UK and abroad. She is experienced in working through interpreters. Anne also undertakes freelance training, she is an experienced Mentor/Assessor for post-qualifying awards in social work, including the Practice Teaching Award, and is herself a Practice Teacher and NVQ Assessor.
